CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become a hotbed of problems, reports of national institutions
The report of the national agencies has revealed that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not capable of fighting the terrorists.
According to the documents, CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become the center of problems, it is not possible to stop the increasing terrorist attacks in the province.

There were incidents while 300 incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in heavy casualties.
CTD Punjab has 15 to 18 SSP rank officers while two DIG level officers are performing duties in Punjab. There is a severe shortage of senior officers of the 'PSP' rank in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the documents, CTD in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa does not get any privileges, adequate funds are not available for Shahada package.
According to the report, there is no headquarters for CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, unlike CTD, the accommodation of all secretaries of the province was arranged in the cantt. Provincial Secretariat employees earn 70% more salary than CTD officials.
The office of CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is established in a one-storey rented house, the basement is being used for the police armoury.
CTD staff are forced to work sitting on the pile of gunpowder. There is no training school for CTD in the province, CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is forced to get the services of Punjab for training.
