Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf's special conversation with international media representatives
Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan says that the increasing incidents of terrorism in the country are very worrying.
In a special conversation with international media representatives in Lahore, Imran Khan said that when the new government came in Afghanistan, we convened a meeting of the National Security Committee to consult about the TTP in Afghanistan and analyzed the situation.
The former prime minister said that we examined in detail various options to deal with the new situation arising in Afghanistan at that time, but when those who were brought in after the fall of our government, they lacked the ability to deal with the situation.
Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf said that first Malakand and then Waziristan, the problems started in the border areas, everything is going out of control in Pakistan, but the foreign minister is roaming around the world. The Foreign Minister should have visited Afghanistan before going anywhere else in the world.
He further said that we invested billions of rupees to fence the Pak-Afghan border, which started to be torn down. This is a very serious situation, parties should take steps before the situation gets out of control.
