The money will be spent on rehabilitation works in flood affected areas, World Bank
The World Bank has approved one billion 69 million dollars for Pakistan.
According to the announcement issued by the World Bank, one billion 69 million dollars approved for Pakistan will be spent on rehabilitation works in the flood affected areas.
According to the declaration, the funds approved will be spent on construction of houses in flood-affected areas, reconstruction of primary health centers, agriculture sector and livestock.
Of the $1.69 billion, $500 million will be spent on infrastructure improvements. 50 million dollars will be spent on the construction of houses on an emergency basis for the people displaced by the floods in Sindh.
Apart from this, 290 million dollars have been allocated for water supply in Sindh and innovation in the agriculture sector.
20 crore will be spent on social security and delivery system.
